Savory Sandwich Ring

Savory Sandwich Ring
Got this recipe from my friend Alyssa. I tried it tonight and ate the whole thing it was so yummy!!

2 pkgs. Pillsbury French bread dough
3 garlic cloves, pressed
½ tsp each: oregano and basil
2 c. lettuce, chopped
1 med. each: onion, green bell pepper, tomato, sliced
½ c. sliced black olives
8 oz. thinly sliced deli meat (I use salami and ham)
4 oz. thinly sliced cheese (I use American and Swiss)
6 Tbl. Good Seasons Italian dressing, divided

Preheat oven to 350. Place dough, seams side down, on cookie sheet. Join ends of dough together to form 1 large ring (I kind of pinch the dough of the ends together). Cut 8 diagonal slashes on top of dough. Lightly spray with Pam. Press garlic over dough; spread evenly. Sprinkle with oregano and basil. Bake 26-30 min. or until deep golden brown. Let cool.

Meanwhile, slice vegetables in food processor. Cut bread in half horizontally, arrange meat and cheese evenly over bottom half of bread. Top with lettuce. Drizzle 2 Tbl. dressing over lettuce. Top with onion, pepper, tomato and olive slices. Brush cut side of bread top with remaining dressing using a pastry brush; place over bottom half. Cut into wedges and serve.
